BCFE has built a reputation for providing the highest standard of Learner centered education. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer high quality education courses in a friendly and relaxed environment, specifically towards adults returning to education We are pleased to inform you that our course fees have in general not increased and in some cases are less expensive than before! It has been a busy and highly successful year for the College particularly in Animation with one of our graduates winning an Oscar and others being nominated for international awards. With this in mind, we are delighted to offer a course in Portfolio Preparation for Animation. Art Portfolio Preparation is as popular following on the successful return of our summer school in this area. As always, the September Portfolio course is on offer and as a new insert in the brochure, we are including the information for Summer school in June 2011. We expect this course to be popular, early enrolment is advised, as class size is restricted to 17. Following on public demand, we have extended our provision of FETAC courses and modules. Students have now the flexibility to complete modules separately and take as much time as they need to build into a full award, this is a model we are using this year for our new childcare courses. We are delighted to offer a new NUI Maynooth Certificate in Economics and Finance, while still continuing to offer the NUIM Certificates in Counselling and Addiction Studies. Millinery is a course, we are sure will be popular, and this is all a new inclusion to our existing course provision.

- Storytelling
- Advanced 3D Animation (Commences January 2011)
As always we are open to submissions from groups/companies with ideas for new courses or training/development opportunities. Rooms in BCFE can also be hired at very competitive rates. We look forward to seeing you in September!

Information on courses
Enrolments
Enrolment times are evenings 6th and 8th, 13th and 15th September 2010, from 7-9pm. All classes commence week beginning Monday 20th September 2010. January enrolments will be held Monday10th and Wednesday 12th January 2011 from 7-9pm. Enrolments in person cannot be facilitated outside these times. Please note application deadline dates for SCC & SCH. Applicants after this date will be on a late applicant list and may therefore not be interviewed if the course is already full. Postal enrolments will be accepted from June 2010 and should be accompanied by course code and applicant contact details. Course applications for January and for Summer School may be done by post. All January 2011 courses commence week beginning 24th
Classes
All classes commence week of September 20th unless otherwise stated. All courses and times may be changed at the discretion of the College. Students should review course content on the relevant websites of FETAC, ATI, NUIM and IPASS as appropriate to view the suitability of the course for their needs.
Payment
Please review individual course information regarding payment, which may be made by postal order or bank draft. Cash will not be accepted and payment must be received before course commencement.
Invoices
Please request an invoice in writing from: night.school@bcfe.cdvec.ie or by fax 01 6266674 giving full course and personal details. One weeks notice is required.
Refunds
Fees will not be refunded unless a class fails to form. In such a case, fees will be refunded by CDVEC Head Office in due course.
Receipts
The receipt issued at registration is your official receipt and replacement receipts cannot be issued. Statements of Payment if requested will incur an administration fee of 10 euro.
